Scholarship for best master\'s thesis to Systecon's Håkan Borgström

The best Swedish master’s thesis within Reliability, Maintenance and Whole Life Cost is rewarded each year by Ove Ljung’s Scholarship. This year Håkan Borgström and his thesis ”The Maintenance Organization: A Strategic Value Adding Force” was awarded.

The motivation on the organization UTEK’s website says that the thesis “with management practices from modern production strategy, the Life Cycle Profit approach and the use of powerful computer programs in the LCC area has built a basis for not only optimizing support resources for a given availability level, but also for optimization of the availability as such.”

After receiving his MSc degree, Håkan now works as a consultant with Systecon AB. We congratulate Håkan to his achievement and we are glad to have him on our team.
