Stockholm Public Transport Administration - Spare parts analysis for the new light railway vehicle 35

22 March 2012

Systecon has recently received a new order from SL (Stockholm Public Transport) concerning a study of the specific spare parts from the new light railway vehicle A35.

Within the scope of the assignment lies analysis of the specific spare part storage (including High Cost Components) required for performing both the preventive maintenance according to the maintenance plan, and the expected corrective maintenance work for SL’s new light railway train A35. The study will include the 15 vehicles already ordered by SL that will traffic Tvärbanan (the Stockholm light railway system) and any optional vehicles supposed to traffic the Spårväg City (Stockholm city light railway system). The analysis will be conducted using Systecon’s own software for spare parts optimization and logistics support, OPUS10.
