Long term commitment to LCM and Opus Suite in Brazil

5 July 2021

Brazilian Air Force (FAB) has awarded Systecon a four-year contract, covering support services, training and upgrades for Opus Suite. The contract is a natural continuation of a long term engagement, where FAB has been using Opus Suite for Life Cycle Management analytics since 2010.

The recently awarded contract provides FAB (Força Aérea Brasileira) with selected training courses as well as support services and Opus Suite upgrades during the coming four years. Opus Suite has been in continuous use by FAB since 2010, for advanced optimization, simulation and analysis to ensure readiness and cost effectiveness in major aircraft programs.

"It is inspiring to follow the strong commitment to LCM and cost effectiveness within Brazilian Defense, and we highly appreciate the opportunity to contribute. This long-term order is consistent with a general trend among our government clients, where an increasing strategic emphasis on LCM analytics, and requirements for capable decision support and optimization throughout the system lifecycle rather than just the early phases, means that the choice of analysis platform is a strategic long term commitment."
